Short history of the building:
The building was designed by a team of architects under the direction of Jerzy Gieysztor and Jerzy Kumelowski. It was built in 1952. At the request of the capital's conservator of monuments, from August 2019 to February 2020, the building underwent work related to the comprehensive repair and maintenance of the storefronts leading to the commercial premises. During the conservation work, repairs were carried out to the elements of the wooden and steel structure, as well as to the cladding made of sheet metal, preserving their original elaboration. The windows were glazed. On the door of the commercial premises, handles modeled on those salvaged in the door at 8 Haller Square were restored.
