By demolishing the building down to its foundations, it is possible to use the existing foundations and not move the building line deeper into the plot. Current building regulations require the construction of a wall without windows at a minimum distance of 3 meters from the fence line, and walls with windows at a minimum distance of 4 meters from the fence line.
