Description
I highly recommend this apartment with a fantastic location in a historic building at 127 Czerniakowska Street.
It’s situated in a quiet, green neighborhood with low-rise buildings, close to Łazienki Park and Promenada Park. A new tram line is just around the corner.
This is the perfect apartment for active people who value the ability to quickly and independently enjoy the city’s charms and attractions.
FLOOR PLAN:
- living room with a French balcony
- bedroom
- separate, bright kitchen with dining area
- bathroom with a bathtub and toilet
- hallway with space for 2 built-in closets.
The property requires renovation, which gives the future owner great freedom in design and the opportunity to adapt the interior to their own needs. The layout of the apartment makes it comfortable and well-organized.
The apartment faces both east and west, making it bright.
The neighborhood, surrounded by greenery and parks, offers a peaceful space for living and relaxation.
Given its location, the safety of the neighborhood, and the comprehensive infrastructure in the area, the apartment is ideal both for living in and as a capital investment.
Property highlights:
- functional floor plan—ideal for a couple or a small family,
- double-sided exposure (east and west)—the apartment is bright and warm,
- great location and transportation links,
- investment potential (rental),
- quiet, green neighborhood.
Additional information: Legal status: full ownership with a land and mortgage register;
the apartment is free of encumbrances.
There is no elevator in the building.
The perfect combination of greenery and proximity to city attractions—I highly recommend it, because living here is very comfortable!
Building
The building and stairwell are well-kept and in good condition.
History:
"The atmosphere of this poor, somewhat 'apache-like' neighborhood is best captured in Stanisław Grzesiuk’s book *Boso, ale w ostrogach* (Barefoot, but in Spurs). In it, Grzesiuk recalls, among other things, the popular *Sielanka* restaurant in Czerniakow. ... After the war, the entire neighborhood was rebuilt, preserving the layout and names of the pre-war streets. A five-story apartment building was erected at the corner of Czerniakowska and what is now Gagarina Street (then Podchorążych Street). It was completed in 1956. A community center, a kind of spacious common room, was located on the ground floor of the building. Six years later (1962), this common room was converted into a second-class restaurant and named “Sielanka” in memory of the historic establishment"
